The beautiful beaches and cliffs of Normandy

Were the beginning of the end for Evil Incarnate

On June 6, 1944 a the stage was set in France

They were determined to give it all they had

Accepting Nothing Less Than Victory was their creed

5000 ships were poised in the Atlantic ready and Armed

!3,000 Aircraft were on hand to support them in their efforts

gallantly they marched on, fighting to overcome Nazi Germany

More than 9000 souls were lost or wounded on June 6, 1944

More than 100,000 Allied Soldiers began their march across Europe

That day, June 6, 1944, on the Beaches of Normandy, D-Day
