A Poem For Lisa- Stuart Kennedy

Life is just a chess game,
Especially, when it’s left you in the rain,
Screaming from the pain,
Desperately, you can never claim,
Back from what you had before,
Luckily we ain’t people of the cloth,
We’re now known as Gods of war,
Or perhaps that’s just sods law,
Tip-toeing around the subject, Oh Lord,
One more puncture hole,
Until I can say fuck them all,
This feeling is so wonderful,
Free falling from me, under my soul,
Call on me and when in Rome,
We’re set in motion,
Grab something to hold on,
I will bounce this ball until,
We’re all gone.
